The Boston Brewery is the original home of Samuel Adams. From being our sole production facility in the 80's to our Research and Development brewhouse today, it's the cornerstone of the craft beer revolution.
Samuel Adams (often shortened to Sam Adams) is the flagship brand of the Boston Beer Company. It is named after US Founding Father Samuel Adams, who inherited his father's brewery on Boston's King Street (modern day State Street) and worked as a brewer or maltster.
Jim Koch took an entrepreneurial risk in 1984 to brew a better beer for the U.S. beer drinker. Now one of America’s leading independent craft breweries, Samuel Adams helped start a craft beer revolution that redefined the way people think about beer.
