Tristania fue un grupo de doom metal y metal gótico procedente de Stavanger, Noruega, formada a finales de 1996 por Morten Veland (guitarra y voz), Einar Moen y Kenneth Olsson (batería).
Tristania was a Norwegian gothic metal band formed in 1996 by Morten Veland, Einar Moen and Kenneth Olsson. Tristania's music is usually classified as Gothic metal with death influences, due to its strong tie and legacy within the gothic metal history.
Last label: Napalm Records. Years active: 1996-2022. Morten Veland left the band in December 2000, due to musical and personal differences. On February 27th, 2007, Vibeke Stene left the band to finish her university degree, which she started in 2000, but did not finish, and also because she did not like the direction the band's music was going in.
