Emory University is a private research university in Atlanta, Georgia. It was founded in 1836 as Emory College by the Methodist Episcopal Church and named in honor of Methodist bishop John Emory. Its main campus is in Druid Hills, 3 miles (4.8 km) from Downtown Atlanta.
Through this joint Emory College and Rollins program, students can complete a bachelor of arts at Emory College and a master of science in public health (MSPH) in biostatistics at Rollins in five years. *Students at Oxford College complete their first two years of coursework in preparation for a bachelor’s degree.
