Ono nació en Tokyo el 18 de febrero de 1933, hija de Isoko Ono (小野 磯子, Ono Isoko?) (1911–1999) [8] y de Eisuke Ono (小野 英輔, Ono Eisuke?), un banquero y con aficiones en piano. [9] El abuelo materno adoptivo de Isoko Zenjiro Yasuda (安田 善次郎, Yasuda Zenjirō?) fue un afiliado del Clan Yasuda y zaibatsu.
Ono was born in Tokyo City on February 18, 1933, to mother Isoko Ono (小野 磯子, Ono Isoko) (1911–1999) and father Eisuke Ono (小野 英輔, Ono Eisuke), a wealthy banker and former classical pianist.
