Apocalypse Zero is a mid-90s battle Shōnen involving two siblings, Kakugo and Harara, entrusted with "Fortified Armor Shells". The manga mostly takes place in a post-apocalyptic 21st century Tokyo, japan, which is infested by some rather grotesque monsters. Harara also turns evil and gets involved in a rivalry with Kakugo.
