The national flag of the Argentine Republic, often referred to as the Argentine flag (Spanish: bandera argentina), is a triband, composed of three equally wide horizontal bands coloured light blue and white. There are multiple interpretations on the reasons for those colors.

The Argentinean national flag has three equal horizontally-running bands of light-blue, white, and sky blue colors arranged from top to bottom. Centered in the white band of the national flag is the Inca Sun - a radiant yellow sun which has the likeness of a human face and is known as the Sun of May (el Sol de Mayo).
The flag of Argentine is strikingly similar to the flag of Uruguay, especially by its blue-and-white design and yellow symbol of sun, which represents the Inca god of sun called Inti. The white stripe is surrounded by two pale blue stripes and a symbol of the sun is located in its middle.

Bandera Nacional. La Bandera Oficial de la Nación tiene sus colores distribuidos en tres fajas horizontales, dos celestes y una blanca en el medio, en cuyo centro exhibe un sol en color oro de treinta y dos rayos flamígeros y rectos alternados, que reproduce el que fuera grabado en la primera moneda argentina.
8 de nov. de 2019 · Presenta tres franjas horizontales: la superior e inferior de color celeste y la central de color blanca. En la franja blanca se sitúa en el centro el Sol de Mayo, el cual es el escudo patrio. La bandera original no tenía al Sol, siendo este añadido de manera oficial dos años después de su ratificación, en 1818.
