Asuka Shikinami Langley (式波・アスカ・ラングレー?) is a fictional character from the Rebuild of Evangelion film series. She first appears in Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance.

Asuka Langley Sōryū (惣流・アスカ・ラングレー, Sōryū Asuka Rangurē?) es un personaje ficticio creado por estudios Gainax y diseñado por Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, perteneciente a la franquicia de Neon Genesis Evangelion. Asuka es la piloto del Evangelion unidad 02 siendo a la vez denominada como el segundo niño.
En la tetralogía cinematográfica Rebuild of Evangelion está su homóloga, llamada Asuka Langley Shikinami.

17 de feb. de 2022 · One of the most glaring differences is how Rebuild reimagines Asuka Langley Sohryu. Rebranding her as Asuka Langley Shikinami, Rebuild 's Asuka shares the same appearance and histrionic, over-achieving personality of Sohryu, but has many differences from her as well.
Asuka is the Second Child ('Second Children' in the Japanese versions of NGE), who pilots Evangelion Unit 02. She is from Germany, but with an American father and a half-German, half-Japanese mother. In the Rebuild of Evangelion series of movies, her name is changed to Asuka Langley Shikinami.
