Dacre Kayd Montgomery ( Perth, Australia Occidental, 22 de noviembre de 1994) es un actor australiano, conocido principalmente por interpretar a Billy Hargrove en la serie original de Netflix, Stranger Things y a Steve Binder en la película musical estadounidense Elvis .
Billy Hargrove, portrayed by Dacre Montgomery, is a significant character in Stranger Things, appearing in both the second and third seasons. In the second season, Billy moves to Hawkins, Indiana after his mother leaves him and his father remarries.
In 2017, Montgomery starred as Jason Scott / Red Ranger in the superhero film Power Rangers and began playing Billy Hargrove in the Netflix science fiction horror series Stranger Things (2017–2022). His performance in the latter earned him critical acclaim and various awards nominations.
Based some of his performance as Billy in Stranger Things (2016 - ) on his own experiences being bullied in school.
