21 de oct. de 2012 · Composed for the aspect ratio of 1.37:1, it was the first 3-D film projected in widescreen at the World Premiere in Hollywood. Motion Picture Daily wrote, “The screen developed by Universal-International has a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with a textile base, sprayed with an aluminum solution to provide a 4-to-1 light magnifying factor.

28 de ene. de 2012 · Creature From The Black Lagoon is presented in a full frame transfer, which retains the original aspect ratio of the film. Since this is one of my favorites I was worried about the transfer, but Universal has issued a shining visual presentation for this film.
