  1. 1 de oct. de 2023 · Fractures have a positive influence on oil production. Maximum burial depth of the Permian Fengcheng Formation, which contains significant oil resources in the Mahu Sag, exceeds 4500 m constituting a deep reservoir. Fractures are widespread in the deep lacustrine shale, providing important storage space and fluid conduits.

  2. Since the imbibed water efficiently forces oil out of the matrix and into fractures, water-wet reservoirs with well-developed natural fractures tend to have good ultimate recovery factors. Reservoirs with poor imbibition characteristics are generally described as oil-wet or mixed-wettability.

  3. 13 de dic. de 2021 · It shows that the level-by-level constraint method can systematically and effectively interpret the fractures of tight-oil reservoirs in the Da'anzhai member of central Sichuan based on ...

  4. 5 de oct. de 2022 · Since more than half of the crude oil is deposited in naturally fractured reservoirs, more research has been focused on characterizing and understanding the fracture impact on their production performance. Naturally open fractures are interpreted from Fullbore Formation Micro-Imaging (FMI) logs.

  5. 7 de ene. de 2021 · Introduction. Investigation of natural fractures in gas reservoirs is an important factor in controlling flow at the stages of production and development of the field (Luffel et al. 1993 ); fractures also have an important influence on the porosity and permeability of the rock and facilitate the movement of fluids.
