Holes Summary. There's no real camp or lake at Camp Green Lake. Though it was once the largest lake in Texas, it's been dry for the last 110 years. It's now a camp for "bad boys," where the boys dig holes every day. Stanley Yelnats is the only passenger on the bus to Camp Green Lake.
