Multiple Eisner-award-winning comic artist perhaps best known as one of the definitive Judge Dredd artists and also for drawing the genre defining Batman: The Killing Joke with Alan Moore. He was the penciller of Camelot 3000, Batman: Black and White (which he also wrote) and numerous other titles.
Judge Joseph Dredd is a fictional character created by writer John Wagner and artist Carlos Ezquerra. He first appeared in the second issue of 2000 AD (1977), which is a British weekly anthology comic. He is the magazine's longest-running character, and in 1990 he got his own title, the Judge Dredd Megazine.
Best known in the United Kingdom as one of the Judge Dredd artists for British comics anthology 2000 AD, he spearheaded the 'British Invasion' of the American comics industry, and in 1982 produced the artwork alongside author Mike W. Barr on Camelot 3000, which was DC Comics' first 12-issue comicbook maxiseries created for the direct market.
