Saputo Stadium represents a turning point in the history of the sport in Québec, taking the next step in the promotion and development of soccer. It hosts the Club de Foot Montréal home games as well as other soccer events including regional, provincial, national and international competitions.
Stade Saputo is located towards the north of the city of Montreal, just over 6 kilometres from downtown Montreal and about 7.5 kilometres from Montreal Central Station. It is part of the Montreal Olympic Park that also includes the Olympic Stadium.
