"Sonic Underground" is the opening theme song of the television series of the same name. It was composed by Robbie London and Mike Piccirillo. It was performed by Michael Lanning and spoken by Queen Aleena's voice actress. The sequence was animated on-house by Andy Heyward's company, rather than Hong Ying Animation Studios as in the series.
The sequence begins with an outer space view and the stars of the triplets' colors shine. Transition to the family's palace, the family is in Queen Aleena's bedroom. The queen's crown jewel shines, then the Oracle of Delphius reveals Robotnik in his cauldron. While it is storming at night, Aleena is seen separating her infant triplets via baskets, ...
