Stephen Joseph Graham OBE (born 3 August 1973) is a British actor and producer. He began his career in 1990, with early notable roles including Tommy in Snatch (2000) and Shang in Gangs of New York (2002), before his breakout role as Andrew "Combo" Gascoigne in the film This Is England (2006).
Impressed by her talent, he immediately called his agent Jane Epstein and recommended the young actress to her. This led to a boost in Comer's acting career and to a friendship between both actors.
