They Are Coming is a survival game developed by OnHitDev - you must survive various types of zombies by building structures as well upgrading your weapons to shoot them and/or your armour to help against their attacks. It's up to you how you play!
You have one life. Separate waves of zombies will try to kill you - kill them all. Money is gained after the day ends - this happens after a certain number of waves have been cleared (starts off with minimal amounts of waves and zombies, but each day the zombies grow stronger, they grow in number and, from time to time, there is an added wave you n...
You have the option to start a 'new defense' or to head on into the 'playground'. The 'defense' is the survival part of the game, but in the playground you can toy around with guns and zombie types etc. You will be given a select few guns at first in the playground, but you can get more by buying guns in the 'defense' shop after each day - after you buy a gun in there, it will be available to play with in the playground, same as with armour, barricades and traps etc.
You can turn the app's sound off via the button in the top right corner and can access language in the top left of your screen. There are links to OnHitDev's Discord and YouTube channel at the bottom of the screen, as well as options to see the leaderboard (see other player's stats that they have submitted), purchase gold and/or the option to go ad-free + get a bonus amount of money after each day (of which you can watch an ad to get anyway), see the 'guide' (a link to a video that OnHitDev made for new players), and see more games that OnHitDev has made.

To pause the game, tap the button in the top left corner of your screen. You can then choose to leave the round or un-pause the game.
To move, hold your finger on the joystick in the bottom left of your screen - from the centre of the joystick, move you finger in any direction to move your character in that direction. This game does not have sprinting as an option.
To shoot, tap anywhere on the screen (apart from where there are other buttons) to shoot in that exact direction. However, tapping behind you will only result in your character shooting straight up or straight down (obviously their arms can't magically do 360 degree movement).
To change the weapon you're currently holding, you can tap both of the large buttons on the left side of your screen (above the joystick). The one that's lower down (looks like a black pistol) will change your primary and secondary weapons - your primary will be a small revolver and your secondary will be a small shotgun for now. Tapping this button will instantly switch between your primary and secondary. Tapping the button above it (looks like a knife) doesn't switch between multiple things, but just simply equips your melee weapon - it will be a fruit knife for now.
To reload, tap the button in the bottom right corner of your screen. It reloads whichever primary or secondary you are holding, not both, just the one your character is holding.
