I tried a naval invasion using 30 ships with 20 army units and did not get that penalty. immediately when the battle starts, click on your admiral and tell him to go do something else, like raid a shipping lane. he and his -98% penalty will sail away.
27 de oct. de 2022 · Oct 27, 2022. #1. Not seen this anywhere, but as Qing I am unable to navally invade Madagascar... I can't see why my naval invasion has to ferry a single general from my menagerie of available candidates, resulting in my superior numbers not mattering....
20 de nov. de 2022 · Victoria 3’s insufficient naval support modifier can spell doom for any conquest attempt, heavily debuffing your army’s fighting capabilities. It’s also not obviously signaled or properly explained in-game, which can lead to a lot of confusion surrounding it.

My admiral beats theirs in naval combat but upon landing, my army receives a -50% because of insufficient naval support. Does anybody know why that is? Archived post.

11 de nov. de 2022 · I think this is a slightly different issue. There is the issue of losing fights because of insufficient naval support. But even in those instances the naval invasion actually takes off - it doesn't just cancel and abort.
