Żywiec (Polish pronunciation: [ˈʐɨvjɛts], German: Saybusch) is a town on the River Soła in southern Poland with 31,194 inhabitants (2019). It is situated within the Silesian Voivodeship, near the Żywiec Lake and Żywiec Landscape Park, one of the eight protected areas in the voivodeship.

Żywiec, town, Śląskie województwo (province), south-central Poland, in the Carpathian Mountains on the Soła River near the border with Slovakia. It lies at the foot of Grójec Mountain, which has made it an important tourist centre. The town is also known for its large breweries.
