Holkham Hall (/ ˈ h oʊ k ə m / or / ˈ h ɒ l k ə m /) is an 18th-century country house near the village of Holkham, Norfolk, England, constructed in the Neo-Palladian style for the 1st Earl of Leicester (of the fifth creation of the title) by the architect William Kent, aided by Lord Burlington.

Holkham Hall, country house located in Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, England, that was built by Thomas Coke, 1st earl of Leicester. It was designed by architects William Kent, Lord Burlington (Richard Boyle), and Matthew Brettingham. Construction of the house began in 1734 and was completed in 1764.

Holkham Hall opening times. During our main visitor season from late March to late October, the Hall is open Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays from 10am-4pm. Your ticket to Holkham Hall includes entry to Holkham Stories and the Walled Garden too. On rare occasions, the Hall closes early for private events.
