Niels Poul "Tist" Nielsen (25 December 1891 – 9 August 1962) was a Danish footballer who is the joint all-time top goalscorer for the Denmark national team with 52 goals in 38 matches. Nielsen won a silver medal with the national team at the 1912 Summer Olympics.

Poul ‘Tist’ Nielsen was the first superstar of Danish football. Although he played at a time when opportunities for international football were limited, he scored goals at such a rate that he still jointly holds the national team’s scoring record today, more than 85 years after his international retirement.
Poul Nielsen was a footballer who represented the Denmark national football team as a striker between 1910 and 1925. He scored his first international goal on 2 July 1912 in a 4–1 win over the Netherlands at the 1912 Summer Olympics semi-finals. [1]
