Beverly Blossom: Bio. Growing up in Chicago. Born in Chicago on August 28th, 1926, Beverly Schmidt grew up in the Logan Square neighborhood, near Fullerton and Crawford (now Pulaski Avenue), and her family later moved to Highland Park.
