Princess Amelia (7 August 1783 – 2 November 1810) was the fifteenth and last child and sixth daughter of King George III of the United Kingdom and his wife, Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. She was their third child to die before them.

23 de mar. de 2023 · Amelia already considered herself married but died in 1810. Due to Amelia’s death and her favoritism by King George III, it was speculated that it contributed to the final blow to his health.
Princess Amelia Sophia Eleonore of Great Britain (10 June 1711 – 31 October 1786) was the second daughter of King George II of Great Britain and Queen Caroline. Born in Hanover she moved to England when her grandfather, George I became king.
Hace 2 días · Amelia was made Ranger of Richmond Park and caused controversy by trying to close parts of it. She died "of a consumption" at her house in Cavendish Square on 31 October 1786 and was buried on 11th November.

29 de may. de 2012 · Precarious health. Unfortunately, Amelia’s health was never robust, and in 1798, when she was fifteen, she became ill with tuberculosis in her knee. By eighteen, she was also suffering from erysipelas, a painful bacterial skin infection also known as St Anthony’s fire.
