Parks, Bert (b. 30 December 1914 in Atlanta, Georgia; d. 2 February 1992 in La Jolla, California), radio and television game show host and actor best known as the master of ceremonies for the Miss America Pageant. Parks was born Bert Jacobson, the younger of two sons of Aaron Jacobson, a merchant, and Hattie Spiegel.
