Daria Halprin (born December 30, 1948) is an American somatic-expressive arts therapist, author, teacher dancer, and former actress known primarily for her performances in three films of the late 1960s and early 1970s and as founding director of Tamalpa Institute.

Following filming, she lived in the Mel Lyman-led Boston commune with her Zabriskie Point (1970) co-star Mark Frechette who, after robbing a bank, died in prison.

Following a career in stage performance as a member of the Anna Halprin’s Dancers Workshop Company, and in film, most notably Antonioni’s Zabriskie Point, she turned to the healing power of the arts.
In addition to leading trainings in the Halprin work at Tamalpa Institute, Daria has served on faculty at the European Graduate School, JFKU, CIIS, Alanus, and Esalen Institute.She has presented at numerous conferences and universities worldwide.
