Countess Ida de Tosny was mistress of King Henry II, by whom she is ancestress to the important Longespee family. She also became the wife of our ancestor Roger Bigod, Earl of Norfolk, by whom she is the ancestress of the later Bigod, Neville and Hastings families. Ida was also called Ida de Thouy.
