About Frederick Oliver Robinson, 2nd Marquess of Ripon. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ripon between 1874 and 1880. He held the office of Treasurer to HM Queen Alexandra in 1901. He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Robinson, of Newby, co. York on 9 July 1909.
