Eydie Gormé, née le 16 août 1928 à New York et morte le 10 août 2013 à Las Vegas, est une chanteuse américaine de musique pop et de pop latino. Elle est connue pour avoir formé un duo avec le chanteur Steve Lawrence , son époux, pendant cinquante ans. Ayant enregistré une quarantaine d'albums, son plus important succès sur disque est Blame It on the Bossa Nova , paru en 1963 [ 1 ] .
Eydie Gormé. Steve and Eydie was the name of an American pop vocal duo, [1] consisting of Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormé. They originally began working together on Tonight Starring Steve Allen in 1954 [2] [3] and performed together until Gormé retired in 2009. They also had separate careers as solo singers.
17 de dic. de 2006 · Don Costa and Eydie are a perfect blend in these selections. Not a dud among them. This is truly a love album, each song overflows with emothion and love. Eydie had range, power, softness and playfullness in her voice and these songs show it off perfectly. I love all the songs, In the Wee Small Hours is a stand out, as is In Love In Vain.

Halála. Eydie Gormé 2013. augusztus 10-én, 84 évesen halt meg a Las Vegas-i Sunrise Hospital & Medical Centerben egy ismeretlen betegség következtében. A kaliforniai Los Angeles-i Hillside Memorial Parkban temették el. Steve Lawrence közleményt adott ki: „Eydie több mint 55 éve a partnerem a színpadon és az életemben.
