Geoffrey II ( Breton: Jafrez; Latin: Galfridus, Anglo-Norman: Geoffroy; 23 September 1158 – 19 August 1186) was Duke of Brittany and 3rd Earl of Richmond between 1181 and 1186, through his marriage to Constance, Duchess of Brittany. Geoffrey was the fourth of five sons of Henry II of England and Eleanor, Duchess of Aquitaine.

  3. John secretly aided Edward’s cause in 1370, giving the English soldier Robert Knowles a haven in Brittany when Knowles faced defeat at the hands of French forces. In 1372, after making an alliance with Edward, John was granted the earldom of Richmond for allowing the English to garrison his fortresses in Brittany.

  4. Jean de Bretagne or John of Brittany (1266-1334) was English Earl of Richmond 1306-34. He was the second surviving son of John II, Duke of Brittany and his wife Beatrice of England, thus being a grandson of Henry III of England and nephew of Edward I of England. His elder brother duke Arthur II was the successor in Brittany.
