George Edmund Street (Woodford, 1824-Londres, 1881) fue un arquitecto británico. Destacado exponente del neogótico victoriano, realizó numerosos edificios religiosos y la Royal Court of Justice en Londres. Fue autor, además, de ensayos críticos y teóricos (La arquitectura gótica en España, 1865).

George Edmund Street. Arquitecto británico nacido en Essex. Hijo de un abogado de Londres, fue educado para seguir los pasos de éste, pero en 1840 y después de la muerte de su padre, fue enviado a trabajar junto a un arquitecto de Winchester, Owen Browne Carter. Desde 1844 fue asistente de George Gilbert Scott, y en 1849 creó su propio estudio.
George Edmund Street, nacido en Inglaterra, tras sus viajes de estudio en torno a la arquitectura gótica de España iniciados en 1861, y consecuentemente a Italia, Francia y Alemania, se convirtió en uno de los más notables investigadores de la arquitectura medieval en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, con una dedicada y minuciosa labor que culminaría con varias publicaciones y reconocimientos.
