S2, Ep1. 29 Aug. 1954. Guest in the Night. Rate. Duke and Rita visit a remote mountain cabin for a romantic getaway. During a fierce snowstorm, a young boy with pneumonia shows up at their door. Duke won't call for help because he is wanted for robbery, but Rita uses a ham radio to ask for medical help.
When Queens Ride By. The story of a queen who, when things were really bad for her people, dressed in her finest and rode through the kingdom to lift their spirits. She was successful and the people worked harder to overcome their problems. Loretta was not in this episode. It starred Bethel Leslie and John Milburn.
Seeing the strength of their marriage, Inga contemplates marriage for herself. A young couple faces a serious test when the husband is denied an important promotion. In Rome, an 18-year-old girl finally meets the man who has been her "second father" through a foster-parents program.

Later re-titled The Loretta Young Show, her weekly anthology series was the first to feature a female star as host and actress, and made Miss Young one of the best-known and beloved personalities on television.
