Reinhold Schünzel 1888 - 1954. Als Schauspieler zählte er neben Anita Berber und Conrad Veit zu den Stars in den Stummfilmen des legendären Richard Oswald. Als Regisseur drehte er die erfolgreichsten und einen der aufwendigsten Ufa-Filme der 30er Jahre, obwohl er als sogenannter Halbjude den Nationalsozialisten ein Dorn im Auge war.
