Robert Radclyffe, 5th Earl of Sussex, KG (12 June 1573 – 22 September 1629) was an English peer. He was the only son of Henry Radclyffe, 4th Earl of Sussex and his wife Honora Pounde, and was known as Viscount Fitzwalter from 1583 until he succeeded his father as Earl on 4 December 1593. Burke's Peerage agrees on the date but changes the year to 1537. Either way, Henry would not remain a widower for long.

Henry Radclyffe was a son of Robert Radclyffe, 1st Earl of Sussex, and he was a cousin of Arthur, Prince of Wales, Margaret Tudor, Henry VIII of England, Mary Tudor, and other members of the ruling House of Tudor. He married a daughter of Thomas Howard, 2nd Duke of Norfolk, and he succeeded his father as Earl of Sussex in 1542.
