Michael Llewelyn Davies (16 June 1900 – 19 May 1921) was – along with his four brothers – the inspiration for J. M. Barrie's characters Peter Pan, the Darling brothers, and the Lost Boys. Late in life, his only surviving brother Nico described him as "the cleverest of us, the most original, the potential genius."
This may be exciting only to myself, and perhaps I should have come across this already, but even well after finishing the manuscript for a novel about the Llewelyn Davies brothers (George, Jack, Peter, Michael, and Nico, who inspired the creation of Peter Pan), I can't help poking around the available resources.

In 1897, Barrie met a married couple formed by Arthur Llewelyn Davies and Sylvia du Maurier; they had three children George (4), John (3), and Peter (2). Three years later, the fourth son Michael arrived, and in 1903, Nicholas was born.
