Augusta FitzClarence was born 17 November 1803 in Bushy House, Teddington, Greater London, England, United Kingdom to William IV of the United Kingdom (1765-1837) and Dorothy Bland (1761-1816) and died 8 December 1865 of unspecified causes.
Lady Augusta Boyle was born in 1801, and married, in 1821, Captain (afterwards Lord) Frederick Fitzclarence, second brother of the late Earl of Munster. They had issue four children, of whom three died in infancy; and one, Augusta Georgiana Frederica, died in 1855.

On 19 May 1821, he married Lady Augusta Boyle (d. 28 July 1876), the eldest daughter of the 4th Earl of Glasgow. Born the fourth illegitimate daughter of William IV of the United Kingdom (then Duke of Clarence) by his long-time mistress Dorothea Jordan, she grew up at their Bushy House residence in Teddington. Augusta had four sisters and five brothers all surnamed FitzClarence.
