But for reasons important to them the couple decided last minute to marry on 17 June 2022 at Mirow Castle, Germany, instead.

He was the eldest son of the reigning Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Frederick Francis IV, and his wife Princess Alexandra of Hanover, a daughter of the Crown Prince of Hanover.

26 de may. de 2024 · On the way back we had a quick look at the Sanssouci Park and had a look in the Friedenskirche where Prince Georg Friedrich of Prussia and Princess Sophie von Isenburg were to get married on Saturday. We also saw some graves of members of the Prussian royal family buried there.
