Ulysses S. Grant (Point Pleasant, 27. travnja 1822. – Mount McGregor, 23. srpnja 1885. ), američki vojskovođa, političar i predsjednik SAD-a. Vojnu akademiju u West Pointu završio je 1843., a kada je izbio američki građanski rat stupio je u vojsku Unije. Ubrzo postaje brigadni general.
