The building itself isn’t grand in size by any means, but at the time it cost £200,000. Nowadays, that’s a lot of money, but back then it was the equivalent of over £18 Million.

  5. The Frogmore Estate comprises 33 acres of grounds within the Home Park at Windsor. It is the location of Frogmore House, and the Mausoleum of the Duchess of Kent, the Mausoleum of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, and the Royal Burial Ground. It is open to the public between four and six days a year. Make sure you get there if you possibly can - it has a very special atmosphere.
