He leased a 17,000-square-foot building in Los Angeles to assemble Boxes with plans for five per month, priced at $3,995, beginning in March 1972, and 400 per month by year's end. Alas, VW's recalcitrance made additional financing difficult.
20 de sept. de 2020 · Brubaker Box. Quando ero piccolo (era da un po che non lo scrivevo 😉 😉 😉 ), avrò avuti 15 anni. Vidi per la prima volta questa auto su una rivista e sono tutto sommato convinto anche in un modellino molto probabilmente della Hot Weels, ma ancora oggi 😉 non so se definirla una auto o un furgone (ncino). con il suo tetto che è removibile devo ancora capire bene cosa sia.

7 de jul. de 2023 · Brubaker debuted the prototype Baha Box at the 1972 Los Angeles International Motorsports Show and gained enough funding to start production, but Volkswagen refused to sell him any chassis. That meant he’d have to buy new Beetles and remove the bodies, which proved too costly and time consuming.
Betreiber war Curtis Brubaker. 1972 stellte das Unternehmen Automobile her, entworfen von Curtis Brubaker. Es gab auch Pläne für Kit Cars. Der Markenname lautete Brubaker. Insgesamt entstanden drei Fahrzeuge. Fahrzeuge. Das einzige Modell war der Box. Die Basis bildete ein Fahrgestell des VW Käfer.
