8 de sept. de 2023 · Donald Glover surprised fans when he showed up to reprise his role of Marshall Lee in the new Adventure Time spinoff Fionna and Cake. It makes sense for Glover's character to appear in the spinoff. After all, he first appeared in Episode 9 of Adventure Time 's third season, suitably titled "Fionna and Cake", as a gender-swapped version of Marceline.

Marshall Lee is the Gender Bender Version of Marceline. From the show Adventure time, introduced in the episode Fionna and cake, the fandom for Marshall Lee exploded. He's one of my favourite gender bender characters from adventure time and mainly because I love the character Marceline (there is something about cold hard sarcasm that I love).
