Juliana van Stolberg, lived from 1506-1580 primarily in Germany, but played an outsized role in Dutch history. She was mother to Willem I, Prince of Oranje who would lead the Dutch rebellion against Spain for independence. But he wasn’t her only child to take up the fight. Adolf, Lodewijk and Lodewijk all lost their lives in battle.
Juliana van Stolberg en haar vijf zoons is een monument in Den Haag. Het is gemaakt door de beeldhouwer Bon Ingen-Housz (Breda 1881-Breda 1963) en de architect Dirk Roosenburg (Den Haag 1887-Den Haag 1962). De eerste steen werd gelegd op de 18de verjaardag van prinses Juliana 30 april 1927 door Jhr Mr D.J. de Geer, voorzitter van de Ministerraad.

Juliana, Condessa de Stolberg-Wernigerode (15 de fevereiro de 1506 Stolberg, Alta-Saxônia — 18 de junho de 1580 (74 anos) Casa de Stolberg), foi a mãe de Guilherme, o Silencioso, [1] o líder da bem-sucedida Revolta Holandesa contra os espanhóis no século XVI.
Ana era hija del Conde Guillermo "el Rico" de Nassau-Dillenburg y de su segunda esposa, Juliana de Stolberg. Ella era el séptimo vástago del matrimonio, y la cuarta hija. El mayor era Guillermo I de Orange (1533-1584), conocido como Guillermo el Taciturno.
