Olga intended to return for the centenary memorial in 2018, [2] at which however, Paul Kulikovsky, a great-grandson of Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna , and a contingent of other Romanov descendants represented the RFA.

A distantly related cousin, Prince Andrew Andreevich Romanov of San Francisco, California, was used as a living relative to compare to the skeletal material.

Finally, in a separate laboratory, we generated the profile of Prince Andrew Andreevich Romanov, a distantly related cousin of Tsar Nicholas II (Figure 2). An example of four of the markers is shown in Figure 3.
