Two years later, she headlined The Colbys, a spin-off of the hugely successful nighttime soap opera Dynasty. It was her last project before retiring. Stanwyck died January 20, 1990.

Barbara Stanwyck ( Brooklyn, 16 de julio de 1907- Santa Mónica, 20 de enero de 1990) fue una actriz estadounidense, candidata cuatro veces a los Premios Óscar de Hollywood y ganadora finalmente de uno honorífico en 1982. Es «uno de los mitos del Séptimo Arte » y una de las mujeres fatales más emblemáticas de la historia del cine.
