Élete, munkássága. Carrà egy Alessandria megyebeli falucskában született, Észak-Olaszországban. Tizenkétéves korában elköltözött otthonról, épületfestőként, dekorátorként tevékenykedett. 1899–1900-ben a párizsi világkiállítás pavilonjainak díszítésén dolgozott, ahol megismerte az aktuális művészeti irányzatokat.
