Byers, 69, of Evansville, Indiana, ended his battle with Alzheimers/Lewy Body Dementia on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Walnut Creek Alzheimers Special Care Center. Dan was born in on March 20, 1949 to the late Harry and Martha (Leake) Byers. He was raised in and attended schools in Channahon, IL.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Riverside Cemetery in Byers with Mr. Roger Deerinwater officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
