Thomas Savage, 1st Viscount Savage, known as Sir Thomas Savage, 2nd Baronet from 1615 to 1626, was an English peer and courtier in the court of Charles I. Background Savage was the son and heir of Sir John Savage, 1st Baronet and his wife Mary Alington.
According to Anderson, Great Migration 1634-1635, Vol. 6, R-S., who has an extensive write-up on Captain Thomas Savage, his parents and origins are unknown. He is certainly not the son of Sir Thomas Savage, 1st Viscount Savage and Elizabeth Darcy, Countess Rivers suo jure. They had a son Thomas but he married Elizabeth Whitmore and died in 1655.
