Mike used the Moog extensively on his song “Melancholy Man” and on the intro to the album Every Good Boy Deserves Favour. After their world tour ended in March 1974, the Moody Blues went on a hiatus that lasted about 4 years. The Mellotron Mark-V, made in 1975, was used by Mike Pinder on his solo debut, The Promise.
