In Rockules , the climactic scene — in which Hercules, chained to two pillars, breaks free while screaming “I am Hercules!” — is taken almost directly from the Steve Moore-authored Radical Comics miniseries of which the film is an adaptation.

The studio had a stinker, the studio knew it, and the studio did whatever they could to salvage it by selling you a bill of goods. In this case, it's the exact opposite: the trailers made HERCULES look terrible, and it's actually a solid B-movie with good action, a great cast, and a sly sense of humor. So what the hell happened?
