Sonja av Norge. Sonja (født Sonja Haraldsen; 1937) er Norges dronning siden 17. januar 1991. Hun giftet seg med kronprins Harald den 29. august 1968 og ble da Norges kronprinsesse. [21] Dronning Sonja er datter av Karl August Haraldsen (1889–1959) og Dagny Haraldsen, født Ulrichsen (1898–1994).

Sonja met Prince Harald (later Harald V) at an officers' ball and a romance developed. The prince's father King Olav V did not approve of the match because Sonja was a commoner.
