Transfer students who apply to Sarah Lawrence want more for themselves. Whether transferring from four-year private or public colleges and universities, community and junior colleges, or international institutions, students who transfer to Sarah Lawrence College seek the freedom to study across disciplines and desire to work one-on-one with one of the best faculties in the United States.
Unfortunately, Sarah Lawrence College is not able to guarantee employment for every student. To be paid, students must have on file a Student Employment Contract, a verified I-9 Employment form, and a W-4 form. Students cannot begin working until these three forms are completed.

We consider you a first-year applicant if: You are still in high school at the time you apply, You have completed high school but have not yet started college, You have completed less than one year of full-time study (approximately 30 credits) at the college level.
