Western Kentucky University's origins can be traced back to 1906 when it was established as the Western Kentucky State Normal School. The Kentucky General Assembly approved legislation to create two teacher training institutions, or "normal schools," in the state, and Bowling Green was selected as the site for one of them.
Western Kentucky University has always had a beautiful campus. It's called "The Hill" because it's buildings start at the top of a hill and cascade down and around all sides of the hill. It has beautiful old trees that dress up in brilliant fall colors when the summer fades. WKU has a very walkable campus.

30 de mar. de 2024 · I like the campus life and academics because I believe Western Kentucky University has knowledgeable professors who create a good learning environment for their students. In addition, campus life is as fun as you make it - going to the athletic games and participating in extracurricular activities has made my experience well worth it.
